Even through still shots, you could feel the intensity of a Kendrick Lamar show. Some argue that Lamar should work on his stage presence but as a newcomer he is doing quite well. The 27-year-old continues to perform all over the country with upcoming tour dates in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Kendrick Lamar is many things including bold. Remember in 2012 when the rapper stated he simply doesn't vote:
No. It was my own personal opinion and they know I’m true to myself. I’m not knocking the kids not to go out there and do it. Do it and get that experience. I gained that experience, it’s just a personal thing within myself and where I’m at in my life and how I feel about the world and spiritually. It has nothing to do with Obama. I want Obama to get that spot because I know he has a good heart. It’s just the people behind him. You have some people that say I’m in a space now where I disregard the people that are still struggling. That’s bullcrap, because at the end of the day, I’ve been thinking the same way since I was 16 years old. My whole thing is: people always look at the high places to come back down and help these communities, but at the end of the day, it starts with the people that’s in the communities. That’s what I really wanna stress.
The Compton native loves to be brutally honest about his views and we can't be mad. Politics aside, click continue to check out Kendrick in his element on stage:
