When ginger ale just won’t cut it, whip up a virgin ginger sparkler. Bonus points: ginger will ease your morning sickness, too. Use chilled ingredients to keep the bubbles longer. We suggest a tall glass, but feel free to switch to a champagne flute for a midnight toast.
¼ teaspoon finely grated ginger
1/2 cup sugar
Bring ginger, sugar, and water to boil in a small saucepan. Strain into cup and chill until cold. Add one tablespoon syrup to tall glass, fill with club soda.
