Greg Horn, the man who was videotaped beating his daughters with a video cable for recording themselves twerking for Facebook, has now been indicted. According to ABC 22 in Dayton, Horn, 35, has been charged with child endangerment and corporal punishment.
The mother of the two girls, ages 12 and 14, helped bring about his arrest. When the girls got home from visiting their father, she noticed deep welts and open wounds on their thighs and she called the police. Because of the seriousness of the girls' injuries, a corporal punishment charge has been added. Though it was initially reported the girls were punished because they were caught making a video of themselves twerking for Facebook, the girls told the police they were being punished for trying to sneak out of the house. The ABC report notes this incident happened in the first week of Child Abuse Awareness Month.
It should be noted this isn't Horn's first brush with the law for harming children. In October 2012, he was arrested and charged with child endangerment. Horn will appear in court for arraignment April 16.
