In the 90's, the movie soundtrack was just as anticipated as the motion picture. Janet Jackson starring in John Singleton's 1993 film Poetic Justice wasn't enough, Jackson performed on the soundtrack as well. The same is said for Whitney Houston in Mick Jackson's The Bodyguard. Soundtracks were everything. Take a look at some of the best ones from the 90's after the flip! Which ones were your favorite?

This list is a miss and a woman must have made it. What happen to Boyz n’ the hood, Menace II Society, Above the RIm, and Murda was the Case? These were some of the dopest soundtracks ever, which feature some of the decades best songs. A woman made this list, I know it!

This list would’ve felt so much more legit if they didn’t forget New Jack City. Seriously, who remembers Panther and forgets New Jack City? Somebody trying to wipe Wesley Snipes clean off the map. Haha!

House Party and Boogie Nights also deserve mention here.
