Beyawnce could never compare to Ms. Tina Turner, she might be the “Tina Turner” of our era, but please don’t disrespect this woman with such a comparison. Beyawnce did not climb the hills, cross the valleys that Ms. Turner had to face. Being black, being a woman in the late 50s, 60s, 70s….was definitely not easy. Then on top of that have to endure the dictatorship of Ike, the pain, the abuse that she endured and yet was able to put a smile on her face once she hit that stage. This woman had a child and was made to perform the next day by that crazy Ike. Her parents abandoning her when she was a young child. All this is carried with her, yet she can smile and perform for the people. And she doesn’t go around talking about how much she worked hard to do this or that. Go around being this “diva” that so many of the artists today pretend to be. This woman is timeless and my hat will always go off to this woman. She is the one and only Ms. Tina Turner.
