Balsamic Chicken from Food.com.
Have the tangy taste of balsamic chicken ready right after you run your errands.
2 lbs chicken thighs, with skin on
1 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup Coke or 1/4 cup Sprite
2 tablespoons fresh crushed garlic
2/3 cup vinegar (mix balsamic & red wine vinegar equally to make 2/3 cup)
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
white rice or pasta
1. Put the first 7 ingredients in a crock pot and cook for 4-5 hours on LOW.
2. Cook the rice or pasta separately.
3. When chicken is done, remove the bones and skin and throw them away.
4. Put either rice or pasta in a bowl and then ladle the Balsamic Chicken on top with some of the liquid from the crock pot.
