Power Shake: Coco Café and Chocolate Peanut Butter

Do you skip meals because you are tight on time? Do you need an energy boost? Try throwing together a healthy, yummy shake recipe that will give you power. Not only will you get the nutrients that you need, but your tummy and taste buds will be satisfied.

Coco Cafe Shake

¯ 1 serving of whey chocolate protein powder (I prefer USANA’s Whey Chocolate Nutrimeal)
¯ ½ tsp of decaffeinated, instant coffee
¯ 10 ounces of unsweetened, vanilla almond milk
¯ ½ avocado (you really won’t taste it but it will thicken to make more like a smoothie)
¯ A few ice cubes
Blend together for about 50 seconds

~If you are addicted to coffee and would like to cut back, this is a good start.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake

¯ 1 serving of whey chocolate protein powder (I prefer USANA’s Whey Chocolate Nutrimeal)
¯ 1 tbsp peanut/almond/sunflower butter (works well with either preference)
¯ 10 ounces of unsweetened, vanilla almond milk
¯ A few ice cubes
Blend together for about 50 seconds

You can’t go wrong with either of these! Enjoy.
